End of the Semester...

Today was my last day of the Spring semester at the University of Oklahoma! My internship at the Museum of Natural History in Norman ended great and I learned a LOT about archaeological collections and NAGPRA. I also ended my Human Osteology and Pathology class with an A. On June 24, I begin my field school at James Madison's Montpelier in Orange, VA. We will be excavating the south yard kitchen, enslaved dwellings, and two smokehouses. I am also doing an independent studies class in the fall with Dr. Lesley Rankin-Hill on the historically black towns in Oklahoma. I am starting now looking up cemeteries on find-a-grave.com.
